Welcome everyone!
The International Theatresports Institute is happy to invite you to the ITI International Conference of Theatresports and Improvisation.
June 6 - 12, 2011 will be a week of workshops with instructors from all over the world, including a 3-day session with Keith Johnstone for those who register early. There will be shows for, and with, the participants. The administrators of improvisation groups have something to look forward to as well, with sessions on the dynamics of their company and running an organisation.
The conference is open to everyone. As all good improvisation goes, there are lots of things being developed as the days go by, so check out the updated schedule and registration pages. With special deals on accomodation, you will be staying with other improvisers in Summery Calgary, Alberta Canada. Make sure you plan a couple extra days to visit the wildly beautiful Rocky Mountains 90 minutes west of the city.

Panel-Discussions
Talk is cheap, but quality talk is priceless. When our bodies are tired and we can curl up with a frosty beverage on a comfy chair, we'll be able to chat about things that affect us all. Plus there will be open forum opportunities to tackle challenging topics.
And if you live in one of the locations in the world where Theatresports™ has a tarnished reputation, then visit one of the panel discussions on why (or why not) we should continue this fight to create some integrity in the work. You may discover some passionate ideas that can revitalize sagging spirits and help create stronger work.
